Organic - "Juice"
A review by Cristy, Score! Magazine - November 2002

Band name: Organic - Juice

Location: Australia.

Initial Impression: My head f-ing hurts (which has nothing to do with this CD - just a commentary on my personal state of being)

Notable Lyric: "The Angel you see is the Devil within" from the softly piano guided "Believe the Mist".

Factoid: When there is no website, or no information except for albums available on the label's website, factoids will be impossible to obtain. [Note: when this album was submitted for review, Organic did not yet have a website. Now they do and that link is below, replacing the PeaceWork Records link supplied with this review.]

Serve With: The obvious answer here is fresh-squeezed orange juice. (I think I'll throw some vodka in mine - could help with the ache in my skull)

Comments: This collection of songs fail to remind me of any specific artist but instead present an overall aura. Organic presents an amalgamation of soft 60's surf music and 70's folk pop. Think Beach Boys; think James Taylor; think Harry Chapin; think the Mamas and the Papas (without the female vocals, of course).
